The AOTP Symposium 2025

An annual meet-up of Designers, Technicians, and Managers featuring livewire themes on challenges and opportunities in the live performing arts and events sectors across India and the world.

Join the Art of the Possible Symposium & Reimagine Production Arts in India

The Art of the Possible initiative kicks off with a full-day symposium at the Experimental Theatre, where professionals, creatives, and experts will come together to explore the future of production arts, event management, and technical training.

Supported by the British Council and Godrej Agrovet, the symposium features speakers from:

  • The National Theatre UK’s Skills Development Centre – Leaders in Theatre training
  • Tait – Global live event specialists behind Coldplay`s India concerts
  • Haworth Tompkins – Renowned architects shaping the next generation of performance spaces

The Big Questions at the Heart of the Symposium

  • Can India build training spaces that don’t just meet global standards but set them?
  • What happens when the industry values hands-on apprenticeships as much as degrees?
  • What do we need—funding, policy shifts, new collaborations—to stop playing catch-up and start leading?
  • How do we create a future where Indian designers, technicians, and managers are sought after worldwide?

This is where ideas meet action. Where questions turn into blueprints. Where the future of India’s production arts takes shape.
