Dr. Arshiya Sethi, an independent scholar, institution builder, and arts manager, brings decades of experience in cultural leadership, particularly in dance. A two-time Fulbright Fellow, she was the first Fulbright Arts Fellow at Lincoln Center and later received a post-doctoral fellowship.
Her impact spans the India Habitat Centre, city festivals, and the Kri Foundation, which she founded to blend arts, activism, and knowledge. She has been a dance critic, a presenter for Doordarshan, and played a key role in the Asian Broadcasting Union’s Television Dance Festival.
A prolific writer and editor, Dr. Sethi has co-authored books, contributed to international dance studies, and co-founded the South Asian Dance Intersections journal. Her ongoing work includes studying dance in the diaspora, arts and law, and promoting Northeast India's cultural heritage.
