aotp is a professional development programme for Indian Designers, Technicians and Managers in the performing arts and live events, a community hub, and a go-to free resource for professionals in the sector.

For Creative Professionals

aotp serves the entire ecosystem of theatre and live events production in India, including professionals, venues, rehearsal spaces, production, and creative companies.

Developed by the National Centre for the Performing Arts, aotp aims to build and work with technically skilled professionals and enable connections between the creative workforce in India and around the world. The programme is supported by Godrej and British Council India.

Designers

Set, Costume, Lighting, Sound, and Video Designers who design the artistic elements of a production.

Technicians

Stage, Costume, Lighting, Sound, and Video Technicians who execute the designs created.

Stage
Managers

Manages all – rehearsals to the final performance, running the stage & all technical cues.

Live Events & Performances

Theatre, Music, Events, Corporate, Dance, Weddings, Opera, Festivals, Theme Parks, etc.

Production Managers

Overall charge of delivering the production as per the approved design and in charge of the production budget.
